Was worried this was going to ruin the first one, which was a delight, but thankfully it didn’t. It wasn’t as good, I’m not about to argue that, the story didn’t hold quite as much weight as the first one, but it held its own. It felt a bit more difficult to root for Elle in this scenario - of course animal testing should be banned but it’s hard not to laugh at someone taking them on because they want to invite their dog’s mother to their wedding.
However, it was a feel good story, with some laughs, some high drama, a lot of pink and plenty of fun. So no complaints.
