Not sure about this one. It had to skip theatres and so Netflix snatched it up, we were keen to see it as part of the whole ‘early release’ thing. On the surface, it’s a good enough movie, but I really think it only stands up because of the fantastic chemistry between the two leads, and their great banter.
The actual plot feels derivative of quite a lot of other movies but very specifically Date Night - a bickering couple end up in a situation out of their depth and have to spend all night running around trying to sort it out, also having to touch base with the love triangle hacker guy who can help.
It was entertaining enough, but I don’t think I would recommend it onwards. Watch Date Night instead.
