7:44 His advice is “It’s all downhill from here?” That’s harsh.
9:43 Am I forgetting why the guy is called Fridge? Weird name.
12:36 Danny DeVito is funny just with a look.

28:55 Well, at least they’ve branched out from Hawaii.
33:04 “Did I just kill Eddie by talking too slow, just like he always said I would?”
35:44 Rock just punched an ostrich in the face. As you do.

1:13:49 “Oh my god, right. Like I’m a total horse.”
1:19:10 Sassy horse flinging hair out of the water is almost more than I can cope with.
1:17:35 It’s one thing for them to flirt, but Rock Pond kissing is madness!
1:37:38 “Get away… I know geometry.”
1:43:40 It’s nice that the two old guys did it together.
1:46:19 “He’s 75 years old and he just learnt how to fly.”
1:52:19 No one can do the smouldering look like Dwayne.

So for the first Jumanji reboot, I was expecting bad things and was superbly surprised, giving it a top score. Did I learn anything from that experience? No. I was expecting this one to be a rubbish sequel, and in the end I loved it!

It was very similar to the first in terms of crazy action sequences within the game, lots of over-acting, great fun seeing the characters inhabiting different bodies at different times (although a bit confusing) and underneath it all, an actually heart-warming story about friends and growing up (either to adulthood, or coming to terms with growing older).

I loved it and it was the perfect feel-good movie for being trapped inside the house.
