Thoughts

From the moment I saw the trailer for this, I was looking forward to it so I was superbly excited when the pre-order finally downloaded, even though it came amongst a bunch of other exciting stuff suddenly available to watch.

Thankfully, it lived up to every expectation. A fantastic mystery at the heart of it all, with plenty of moments you’re completely led up the garden path, suspicious of people who have nothing to do with it, and tying yourself up in knots trying to figure out what happened.

I was nowhere near the right answer, but Mr C was really keeping up, picking up on the significance of almost every single sentence, it was a lot of fun.

And what a cast! I thought Daniel Craig’s accent was going to detract from the whole thing, and whilst it was funny to start with, in the end it wasn’t all that distracting. The family had a great, well, terrible really, but believable dynamic, and I loved/hated every single one of them. Great stuff.
