0:47Go Columbia lady!
4:17The credits and billing in this is very interesting. Emma’s an And whilst Woody isn’t. And lovely Breslin doesn’t even get her name at the top table.
6:25“We should be grateful he’s gawking at us.”
9:50The Walking Dead is unrealistic? Ok.
16:07“It’s nice to touch a human.”
22:57Woody Harrelson rage is the best rage.
36:06Terminator reference, woooop! “Whatever the nine-tuple tap is.”
39:20They went through all that for nothing.
41:39“If you love something, you… shoot it in the face.”
49:12“Murraying him. You know, when you shoot someone because you think they’re a zombie. Apparently that’s how Bill Murray died.” OMG, incredible.
57:38Your top two films are dancing mops followed by time travelling killer robots. Sure!
1:10:53Everything stacks up! Her bags weren’t in there!
1:14:49“I will never forget you whatsisname.”
1:21:14The swarming. That’s the scary bit. Same as World War Z.

I was probably in the camp that didn’t think we needed another Zombieland movie but I’m glad they made it because it was almost as good as the first one, but more importantly, they didn’t ruin anything that was good about the first one.

It was superb, enjoyable, funny in the right places and that joyous comedy of great references and plenty of banter.

There were a few downsides: not sure how the hippy guy could possibly have survived that long without doing anything useful - you can’t survive in an apocalypse with a guitar. I thought the build up to the final set piece was signposted just a bit too early on. Also, they stole the thing from Shaun of the Dead where they met themselves coming in the other direction. I don’t know what that added to the story, and it’s been done before but better.

However, those niggles aside, it was a great, fun watch, lifting the spirits in these difficult times!
