Trailer Tuesday – Catching up

It’s catch up time on the whole trailer front, as I’ve been seeing them pass me by but not quite finding time to post them. First up, The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp. It’s fun to see Depp try new characters, but I’m not at all convinced by this one. I don’t know the original Lone Ranger particularly well, so curious what fans think of this remake.

The Lone Ranger

I’m not really a big fan of Kirsten Dunst since the whole Spiderman debacle, but the concept of this Romeo & Juliet sci-fi style film is intriguing.

Upside Down

I don’t quite understand the gravity situation, and the trailer seems a bit over the top, but I’d be willing to give it a shot! Release dates on this seem quite confusing – it was already out and has critics reviews, but hasn’t been in the cinema yet. Not sure, and it doesn’t really matter as we’ll just be waiting for it on iTunes anyway.

Finally, the Super Bowl ads are always something to be watching out for, and this time they gave us yet another sneak peek at Iron Man 3. I wasn’t a huge fan of the last trailer, but I might just be able to be convinced by this one!

Iron Man 3

I love the Extended Look. That’s what Iron Man is all about.

  1. That version looks a bit different to the one I remember. When Jay Silverheels played Tonto he had a feather on his head not a bird. I am sure at no point were they hit by a trin sliding along on its side. And what about the theme tune?? That is like ITV or Sky not playing The Chain. It’s just not right.

Upside Down is madness. I get the Romeo and Juliet bit but surely they could have found something to separate them that didn’t rip up the laws of physics. If gravity was acting in opposite directions in two places 30 feet apart there would be an awful lot more to worry about than not being allowed to visit his girlfriend.

Iron Man looks like Dr Cox from Scrubs
