I’ll admit it, I’ve been pretty hopeless with the running this week. With all kinds of healthy activities really. It’s just been hectic, and excuses, excuses, excuses. Today should have been my long run day but I woke with such a headache, I couldn’t face it. This is the first day in a long while where I have just had the entire day free to do what I want, and resting seemed more of an important option than running.
Which is bad, really, but never mind. I’ll try and do better next week.
I did go for one run on Wednesday, and it turned out to be one of the best in a long while. That really did get my spirits up, particularly considering what a week it has been. Remember this run when things get tough.
What I have been struggling with recently is the food routine. I’ve been attempting breakfast for more than a month now and it doesn’t get any nicer. Is that normal? I’m definitely into more of a routine with food, which is good, but it’s still not easy even after all this practice. I do feel like I have a bit more energy, though. I’m not sure I could have survived these busy weeks on my previous one-meal-a-day regime!
