The Great Gardening Adventure – Week 3

More strawberry news, as this time… I ate one!

That’s right, the reddened strawberry was red enough to eat, so I tried it out. It wasn’t perhaps as sweet as it could have been, but it was nice and juicy, with a great texture. Must be all that water!

In other news, the remaining plants are still green and growing, and not a lot else. I want to see some other produce rather than just the strawberries, but I guess this will take a while longer.

I also purchased a small window box for the, um, window, that I have sprinkled the unused lettuce seeds into. We’ll see how they take to their new home as well.

  1. I must confess that when I first heard about your gardening adventure, I thought you should have started with something a little easier… some weeds or cress.

However, you seem to have exceeded my initial expectations and I must bow down to your (and your mother’s?) superior gardening abilities.

Also, can I have a strawberry?
