My to do list has reached epic proportions, and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. For a long time I just ignored it, hoping that it would go away. But it didn’t seem to, it stuck around, and so I went back to it. Thankfully, I’ve now started to cross things off, which makes the day seem just a little bit brighter.
I love crossing things off my list. If I’m about to start doing something that I know isn’t on the list, I will write it down, just so I can cross it off when I’ve done it. It’s the sense of achievement, and the feeling that I’ve actually managed to do something productive.
I’ve been looking around at different tools to manage my to do list. Mr C pointed me in the direction of Ta Da List which is a very good web based list. That means I can check my list (or add to it, which is more likely) no matter where I am. That led me onto Backpack which is just brilliant, although I have yet to find a proper constructive use for it.
I also tried downloading Sunbird which is Mozilla’s handy calendar and task manager software. I like this, but the problem with this is that I forget to open the damn thing and therefore don’t get to see my list for days.
So for now, I am sticking to good old pen and paper, and it seems to be working pretty well.
